The Release Point Education CIMVHR Forum Travel Bursaries exist to provide financial assistance for student costs to attend CIMVHR Forum. The main goal is to enable students to participate in CIMVHR Forum, where they can present their research, network with experts and gain professional development experience.
Bursary Details:
- Monetary reimbursement up to $2,000 CAD per applicant will be distributed towards travel, accommodations and the registration fee to attend CIMVHR Forum. Participants must submit receipts to receive reimbursement.
- A total of $10,000 in funding will be distributed.
Bursary Parameters:
- The bursary is open to CIMVHR Member Universities or college students who:
- Are enrolled in undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate programs.

- Have an interest in military, Veteran and family health research and well-being.
- Have the written support from their program supervisor.
- The applicant must be presenting a podium, symposium or poster at CIMVHR Forum 2025.
Additional Requirements:
- Recipients will be asked to include recognition of the bursary on their poster or presentation (branding will be provided).
- Following the conference, the bursary recipients will be required to complete a brief report about their experience. A template will be provided.
Reimbursement will be made once receipts are provided. Receipt must be provided within 30 days of attending CIMVHR Forum 2025. Queen’s University has a 60-day reimbursement policy from when they receive the receipts for reimbursement.
Completed applications must be submitted electronically via the online submission portal by TBD. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. If your application is accepted, you will be contacted via e-mail with instructions on how to submit proof of conference registration and required receipts. You must provide proof of registration and supporting documentation (e.g., registration email confirmation, receipts and invoices) for all expenses. All documents must be submitted within 30 days of the end date of the event (add exact date they are due here). Applicants will only receive funding after all documentation has been submitted.

- Meet the Deadline: Stay on top of deadlines, as applications are time-sensitive.
