Nathan Svenson is the Director of Research for Veterans Affairs Canada. Prior to joining the Department, Nathan spent 12 years with the Canada Revenue Agency, including as Chief of Statistics and Modelling and as Director of the CRA Enterprise Data Program. At Veterans Affairs, Nathan oversees the Veteran Well-being Surveillance Framework, the Joint Federal Research Funding Program for Military Personnel and Veterans, and the Veteran and Family Well-being Fund. Nathan was born overseas to a Canadian Veteran on deployment with NATO. He holds degrees in biostatistics and economics.
