Unbroken is one of the largest war-related rehabilitation Centres in Ukraine serving thousands of Ukrainian Veterans and civilians. It provides war-related reconstructive surgery, orthopedics, prosthetics, and physical, psychological, psychosocial rehabilitation along with reintegration support into Ukrainian society.
Marianna's presentation will share information on types and mechanism of injuries, types of rehabilitation provided, multidisciplinary integration of care providers, success rates, examples of innovation and highlight the challenges facing a national rehabilitation centre during wartime. The project is sponsored by First Medical Association of Lviv, the Lviv City Council, support from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and philanthropic donations.
