Julie Drury is the Director General of Policy and Research Veterans Affairs Canada, and formerly the Director of Mental Health for VAC. Julie is responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team of policy analysts, researchers, academics and advisors to ensure a comprehensive and strategic legislative, regulatory and policy framework to support Veteran health and wellbeing that is evidence based and stakeholder informed. Julie has held several roles across the federal government, provincial government, and as a consultant to national and international organizations, and pan Canadian health organizations with an emphasis on building and leading on engagement best practices, and intersectoral partnerships across policy, program and service delivery.
