Senior Epidemiologist, Research Directorate, Veterans Affairs Canada
Dr. Andrea Jones is a Senior Epidemiologist with the Research Directorate at Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). For over a decade, she has conducted research on how work and occupation influence health and well-being, with consideration to broader socio-ecological systems and contexts. Her current work on military and Veteran health and well-being spans topics of mental health, service-related exposures, and patterns of health indicators and outcomes including incident cancer. Prior to joining VAC, she conducted research and evaluation at British Columbia’s Partnership for Work Health and Safety on work-related injury and illness, work disability, and the effectiveness of occupational health and safety programs.
